KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that active monsoon winds and a normally positioned trough line are bringing mostly cloudy skies across Nepal today.

Moderate rain with thunderstorm activity is expected across hilly, mountainous, and plains regions throughout the day and night.

Heavy rainfall is predicted in isolated areas of the Bagmati, Gandaki, Koshi, and Lumbini provinces, prompting a general advisory for potentially strong showers.
