NEPSE declines slightly; turnover reaches Rs 4.68 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell slightly on Thursday. With share transactions worth Rs. 4 billion 68 crore 88 lakh 68 thousand, the NEPSE index dropped by 0.93 points.

Out of the companies traded today, the share prices of 138 companies declined, while 112 companies saw an increase. However, the share prices of 6 companies remained unchanged.

Today, sellers of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta shares earned the highest profit, while sellers of Bunga Hydropower shares incurred the biggest loss.

Despite the slight decline in NEPSE, the sub-indices of Hotels & Tourism, Hydropower, Manufacturing & Processing, Microfinance, Others, and Trading remained positive, while other sub-indices were negative.
