KATHMANDU: Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane received a grand welcome at the party’s central office in Banasthali today.

Supporters and party members gathered with musical instruments to greet him following his arrival in Kathmandu yesterday from Bhairahawa Prison.

The RSP chairman had been in custody in connection with cooperative fund investigations. Immediately following the welcome ceremony, the RSP convened a central committee meeting to discuss the party’s future strategy and organizational activities. This marked his first official appearance at the party headquarters since his release.
