Government’s high-level dialogue committee discusses with RSP

KATHMANDU: A team of the government’s high-level political dialogue committee held discussion with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

The committee had the discussion with the RSP leaders at its Banasthali-based central office this afternoon.

The team comprising Dialogue Committee Coordinator and Minister for Law Anil Sinha, Minster for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel and Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s chief advisor Ajaya Bhadra Khanal reached the RSP office for discussion.

On behalf of RSP, its Vice-President duo DP Aryal and Dr Swarnim Wagle, general secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, joint general secretary Bipin Achahrya and spokesperson Manish Jha as well as some central members attended the discussion.

Law Minister Sinha informed that the RSP leadership was apprised of the preparation taking place in regard to the upcoming March 5 elections from the government’s side.

In an interaction with journalists following the discussion, Minister Sinha shared that RSP has no suspicion about the elections but raised some queries regarding the issues of security and time management.

The discussion with the political parties has helped create environment for the elections, Minister Sinha said.

Likewise, Minister Kharel extended gratefulness to the RSP for its clear message to participate in the elections.

RSP spokesperson Jha commented that the discussion with the Committee remained enthusiastic.
