KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the rates determined for today, the value of the US dollar has remained stable. As per the fixed exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at NPR 143.47 and the selling rate at NPR 144.07.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro has been fixed at NPR 168.90 and the selling rate at NPR 169.61. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 193.68 and a selling rate of NPR 194.49, while the Swiss Franc has been set at a buying rate of NPR 181.73 and a selling rate of NPR 182.49.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 96.35 and a selling rate of NPR 96.75. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 104.94 and selling rate NPR 105.38, while the Singapore Dollar has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 111.69 and a selling rate of NPR 112.16.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.16 and the selling rate NPR 9.20. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 20.48 and a selling rate of NPR 20.56. Likewise, the Saudi Arabian Riyal has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 38.25 and a selling rate of NPR 38.41, while the Qatari Riyal stands at a buying rate of NPR 39.25 and a selling rate of NPR 39.42.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.62 and a selling rate of NPR 4.64. The UAE Dirham’s buying rate is NPR 39.06 and selling rate NPR 39.22. The Malaysian Ringgit has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 35.44 and a selling rate of NPR 35.59. Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.95 and the selling rate NPR 9.99. The Swedish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 15.66 and a selling rate of NPR 15.73, while the Danish Kroner has been set at NPR 22.61 for buying and NPR 22.70 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.46 and the selling rate at NPR 18.54. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 467.34 and a selling rate of NPR 469.30. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar has been set at a buying rate of NPR 380.46 and a selling rate of NPR 382.05, while the Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 372.65 and a selling rate of NPR 374.21. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also informed that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
