KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has asserted that the government is active in building the nation as desired by youths through peaceful, constitutional and democratic process, learning lessons from the developed scenario in the country.
The government has focused its all attention for election to give political outlet to the country based on mutual dialogue and consensus by joining hands amidst differences, she argued.
Addressing the Tamu Lhosar festival celebration organised at local Tundikhel today, PM Karki mentioned that free and impartial election with enthusiastic environment is main basis of democracy.
With the submission of closed list of candidates under proportional representation system by political parties at the Election Commission, the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 5 is guaranteed, she stressed.
Extending gratitude towards support received from responsible political parties and youths in the context of upcoming election, the Prime Minister expressed the belief that the election would be successful with the support of all bodies concerned.
She expressed commitment not to leave any stone unturned to hold election in fear-free environment along with guarantee of peace and security, requesting all to support the government, which is carrying out activities round the clock to give political outlet to the country by holding HoR election.
