KATHMANDU: The Help Nepal Sports Club won the men’s title in the Ninth NVA National Volleyball Championship, defeating the departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club.

In the final match held today at the covered hall of the National Sports Council (NSC) located in Tripureshwar, Help Nepal defeated the Army 3-0 in straight sets to win the tournament title.

Help Nepal defeated the Army 25–21, 25–21 and 25–21. In the women’s final held today at the same ground, New Diamond Academy defeated the departmental team Nepal Police Club, 3–0, in straight sets to win the women’s title.

New Diamond maintained pressure on Nepal Police Club from the beginning, winning the first set 25–18, the second set 25–19, and the third set 25–18.
