BHOJPUR: The Third Invitational Pauwadung Gold Cup Football Competition and Maghi Fair is to be started in Pauwadung Rural Municipality, Bhojpur, on Wednesday. The event will conclude on February 6, the organizer said.

Chairman of Pauwadung Rural Municipality, Kiran Rai, said that the tournament is aimed at developing sports activities and promoting socio-cultural aspects in the locality.

The competition will be held at the Pauwadung Stadium.

The winner of the competition will be given Rs 300,000 and the first runner up will get Rs 200,000.

Likewise, the organizer said that the best player, best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and the best striker will be provided with prizes.
