KATHMANDU: Two films, Kumari and Rammita Koo Pirati, were released nationwide on Friday, marking a simultaneous entry into cinemas.

Directed by Dinesh Raut, Kumari stars Abhishek Khadka and Akriti Rajbhandari in lead roles, with Mahendra Adhikari as producer. The film explores themes of love, struggle, and internal family conflict.

Sudepta directs Rammita Koo Pirati, a women-centric film that follows an emotional journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and choice after a breakup. The film features Anna Sharma, Dhiraj Magar, Binay Shrestha, and Samir Shrestha in lead roles. Anna Sharma also serves as the film’s executive producer.
