KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that NCP is a new party in terms of its ideologies and principles.
During his address to an election-related programme organied by the NCP Salyan Liaison Committee, he said the party’s ideology, agenda and struggle determine whether it remains relevant to the times or becomes outdated.
“Republic is the newest ideology and this was led by the NCP. The party had strongly advocated for the recognition and rights to women, Dalits, indigenous nationalities, Madhesi, Tharu, Muslim, oppressed class and communities,” he said, arguing that his party is the newest one in the terms of its ideology. He also argued that those parties claiming to be new ones should unveil their ideology and perspectives.
Party leader Prakash Jwala said the NCP is progressing towards the journey of socialism through corruption prevention, promotion of good governance, jobs creations and prosperity.
