Sharma, who was also serving as a member of the party’s Central Women and Social Development Department, submitted her resignation, relinquishing even her ordinary membership.
Issuing a statement, she mentioned that she could no longer remain in the party, alleging that honest individuals were not valued and that there was financial irregularity within the organization.
“Decisions of the party being inspired by financial irregularities have created a situation that hurts my self-respect and political values. I am unable to remain silent any longer as a witness to all these activities,” she said.
Therefore, she stated that she has submitted her resignation, effective from today’s date, to no longer remain even a member of the party.
