KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), abbreviated CPN (UML), has released its manifesto for the March 5 House of Representatives election, outlining a vision centered on political stability, democratic strengthening, and national sovereignty.

Party Chair KP Sharma Oli said a clear majority is essential to end instability and accelerate development under the slogan “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.”

The manifesto sets ambitious economic growth and income targets over the next decade while promising immediate relief programs for youth, workers, students, women, and low-income families, including digital access support, concessional loans, wage reforms, and expanded social security.

It also prioritizes major infrastructure projects, digital governance reforms, anti-corruption measures, improved health and education services, and expanded drinking water access.

In foreign policy, the party reaffirms a nonaligned stance, pledging to safeguard sovereignty while engaging the Nepali diaspora as partners in national development.
