NEPALGUNJ:  A National Conference on Technology for Transformation is taking place in Nepalgunj from today.

The two-day national conference is to be held under the aegis of the Research, Innovation and Development Unit at the Institute of Engineering and Information Technology under the Lumbini Technological University.

Dean at the Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr Niraj KC said the conference would believably play crucial role in exploring solutions to the problems emerging in society through effective implementation of technological knowledge.

The conference, according to him, features different nine thematic sessions.

Vice Chancellor at the University, Prof Dr Binod Prasad Dhakal shared that the findings of research undertaken by young researchers would be presented on the occasion, along with panel discussion on integrating technology with development in Lumbini.

Around 250 participants comprising of speakers, theme experts, researchers and students are expected to attend the conference, informed Conference Coordinator Chaturbhuj Bhatta.
