KATHMANDU: A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck near the Nepal–India Sikkim border at 12:54 pm today, according to authorities.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center and the Seismology and Seismic Hazard Evaluation Section said the epicenter was located close to the international boundary.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and further reports will be made public soon, according to the center.
