KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the fixed rates, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is Rs 145.27 and the selling rate is Rs 145.87. The buying rate for one Euro is Rs 171.62 and the selling rate is Rs 172.33, while one UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of Rs 195.90 and a selling rate of Rs 196.71. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc stands at Rs 188.94 and the selling rate at Rs 189.72.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is Rs 103.37 and the selling rate is Rs 103.80. The buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is Rs 106.47 and the selling rate is Rs 106.91, while one Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs 114.84 and a selling rate of Rs 115.31.
Among Asian and Middle Eastern currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.31 and the selling rate is Rs 9.35. The buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is Rs 21.18 and the selling rate is Rs 21.27. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is Rs 38.73 and the selling rate is Rs 38.89, while one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 39.85 and a selling rate of Rs 40.02.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.70. The buying rate for one UAE Dirham is Rs 39.55 and the selling rate is Rs 39.71. The buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit is Rs 37.33 and the selling rate is Rs 37.49. The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is Rs 10.09 and the selling rate is Rs 10.13. The buying rate for one Swedish Krona is Rs 16.09 and the selling rate is Rs 16.15, while one Danish Krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.97 and a selling rate of Rs 23.06.
The central bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 18.57 and the selling rate at Rs 18.65. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar is Rs 475.52 and the selling rate is Rs 477.48. The buying rate for one Bahraini Dinar is Rs 385.29 and the selling rate is Rs 386.88, while one Omani Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 377.82 and a selling rate of Rs 379.38. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. The bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary, and that commercial banks may set different rates.
