TEHRAN: At least 96 people, including 85 civilians and 11 soldiers, were killed in the past 24 hours during ongoing United States and Israeli strikes on Iran, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency.
The Washington-based group said Monday that since the attacks began Saturday, the civilian death toll has reached at least 742, including 176 children.
Earlier, the Iranian Red Crescent Society reported 555 deaths, though international media said the figures could not be independently verified.
HRANA said Monday’s strikes targeted multiple sites, including military bases, two residential areas, and the Shahid Bahonar Pier in Bandar Abbas.
