Japan supports classroom construction at a school in Bajhang

KATHMANDU: The Government of Japan has extended its support for education in Bajhang District by funding the construction of a new classroom building at Shree Satyavadi Higher Secondary School.

The grant contract, worth USD 129,665 (approximately Rs 18.6 million), was signed today between Ambassador Maeda and Dhana Lama, Executive Director of United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust.

The project, under Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP), aims to provide students with a safe, modern, and educationally effective environment.
