KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one U.S. Dollar has been set at Rs. 147.64 and the selling rate at Rs. 148.24.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is Rs. 168.55 and the selling rate Rs. 169.24. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of Rs. 195.27 and a selling rate of Rs. 196.06, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of Rs. 186.56 and a selling rate of Rs. 187.31.
The buying rate of one Australian Dollar has been set at Rs. 103.07 and the selling rate at Rs. 103.49. Likewise, the Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 107.62 and a selling rate of Rs. 108.06, while the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 115.01 and a selling rate of Rs. 115.48.
For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.24 and the selling rate Rs. 9.28. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of Rs. 21.41 and a selling rate of Rs. 21.49. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at a buying rate of Rs. 39.34 and a selling rate of Rs. 39.50, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 40.39 and a selling rate of Rs. 40.56.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs. 4.55 and a selling rate of Rs. 4.57. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of Rs. 40.20 and a selling rate of Rs. 40.36, while the Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs. 37.49 and a selling rate of Rs. 37.64. The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is Rs. 9.83 and the selling rate Rs. 9.87.
Similarly, the Swedish Krona has a buying rate of Rs. 15.57 and a selling rate of Rs. 15.64, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of Rs. 22.56 and a selling rate of Rs. 22.65.
The central bank has set the buying rate of the Hong Kong Dollar at Rs. 18.86 and the selling rate at Rs. 18.94. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 481.70 and a selling rate of Rs. 483.65, the Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 391.05 and a selling rate of Rs. 392.64, and the Omani Riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 383.48 and a selling rate of Rs. 385.04.
Likewise, the buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs. 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
