Gold price rises, silver falls in local market

KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver showed slight fluctuations in the local market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 100 per tola.

The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 309,500 per tola today. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 309,400 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 5 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,270 per tola on Sunday, has been fixed at Rs 5,265 per tola for Monday.

In the international market on Monday, gold is being traded at $5,013.6 per ounce, while silver is trading at $80.12 per ounce.
