BEIRUT: Six people were killed and 34 others injured on Wednesday as a result of a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas in southern Lebanon, according to the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
The center announced that an airstrike targeting Al-â€کAlam roundabout in the city of Tyre resulted, in a final toll, in 24 people being injured.
Another statement reported that an airstrike on a residential apartment in the Mieh Mieh camp in the south of the country led to the death of two people and the injury of four others.
In the Sidon district of Adloun, an Israeli airstrike killed four people and injured another. Another strike targeted the town of Al-Qlailahآ in the Tyre district, injuring five people.
These airstrikes come amid ongoing escalation in the southern regions, with warnings of a deterioration in humanitarian and security conditions.
