KATHMANDU: The CPN (UML) has directed its lawmakers to gather at the party’s central office in Chyasal immediately after taking the oath of office.

UML Members of the House of Representatives have been instructed to head to Chyasal right after the swearing-in ceremony.

According to party publicity chief Min Bahadur Shahi, a special address by party chairman KP Sharma Oli has been scheduled for both House of Representatives and National Assembly members.

Shahi said that Chairman Oli will brief lawmakers on the current political situation and outline the party’s future strategy. This will also mark Oli’s first visit to the party headquarters in Chyasal following the death of his father.
