KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is set to meet today with leading industrialists from Nepal’s manufacturing sector to discuss budget implementation and pressing issues in the industrial sector.
According to the Finance Minister’s secretariat, the meeting will take place at the Ministry of Finance today at 3:00 PM. Around three dozen prominent industrialists who play a significant role in Nepal’s manufacturing economy are expected to attend.
The discussion will focus on the effective execution of the annual budget, improving the domestic industrial environment, promoting capital investment, and gathering direct feedback from the private sector.
Alongside Finance Minister Wagle, high-level officials participating in the meeting include Finance Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhyay, Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Narayan Prasad Dawadi, and various division and department heads from the Ministry of Finance.
