KATHMANDU: CPN UML parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thaha ‘Badal’ alleged that various influential forces supported the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in its recent “miraculous victory.”
Speaking at the parliament’s first session, Thapa pointed out the involvement of the Nepali Army and the Barbara Foundation, among others, and claimed that groups including Tibetan Original Blood (TOB) were also backing the party in ways reminiscent of AI-driven and Goebbels-style propaganda.
He added, “Heroes of peace and prosperity have been portrayed as fierce villains, while those running the country are being cast as heroes.”
Badal stated that his parliamentary questions would continue and emphasized the party’s commitment to raising its voice with dignity in the House. He also congratulated the RSP on its success and remembered the martyrs of September 8 and 9, 2025, stressing that lessons must be learned from defeat to move forward.
