KATHMANDU: Gyan Bahadur Shahi, leader of the parliamentary party of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), expressed confidence that major perpetrators of cooperative scams and large-scale financial fraud will be held accountable.

He emphasized that those who exploit the earnings of ordinary families-selling their hard-earned labor to sustain their households-will face strict legal action. Speaking in parliament, Shahi said he places considerable trust in Balendra Shah and Sudan Gurung to uphold justice and stand with the government against corruption.

Shahi further urged that the legal framework must also extend to those who siphon off resources meant for the poor and marginalized, ensuring that no one escapes accountability.
