KATHMANDU: Bharat Bahadur Khadka, a Member of Parliament from the Nepali Congress, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee under the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament.

Khadka’s candidacy was proposed by Mohan Acharya and supported by Janak Raj Giri. He was elected unopposed, as his was the only nomination filed within the deadline set by the Federal Parliament Secretariat on Thursday.
