KATHMANDU: Applications for Miss Nepal 2026 have been opened, with a one-month deadline for interested candidates.

The competition will follow international selection standards this year as well.

Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old, born after January 1, 2000, and not exceeding 27 years by December 31, 2026. Minimum height requirement is 5 feet 3 inches without heels.

Candidates must be unmarried, have no previous marriage history, and possess at least a Plus Two or equivalent qualification. Nepali citizenship or passport is required.

Applicants must also have no tattoos, in line with Miss World standards.

For Non-Resident Nepalis, only those holding NRNA citizenship cards under the new constitutional provisions are eligible.

The finale is expected to be held around the end of July, 2026.
