NRB fixes foreign exchange rates for today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday). As per the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs. 151.56 and the selling rate is Rs. 152.16.

Similarly, one euro is fixed at Rs. 177.64 for buying and Rs. 178.35 for selling, while the UK pound sterling stands at Rs. 205.75 (buying) and Rs. 206.56 (selling), and the Swiss franc at Rs. 193.85 (buying) and Rs. 194.62 (selling).

Among other currencies, the Australian dollar is Rs. 109.21 (buying) and Rs. 109.64 (selling), the Canadian dollar Rs. 111.54 and Rs. 111.98, and the Singapore dollar Rs. 119.00 and Rs. 119.47 respectively.

The Japanese yen (per 10) is Rs. 9.65 (buying) and Rs. 9.69 (selling), the Chinese yuan Rs. 22.20 and Rs. 22.28, the Saudi riyal Rs. 40.41 and Rs. 40.57, and the Qatari riyal Rs. 41.59 and Rs. 41.76.

Likewise, the Thai baht is Rs. 4.67 (buying) and Rs. 4.69 (selling), the UAE dirham Rs. 41.26 and Rs. 41.42, the Malaysian ringgit Rs. 38.18 and Rs. 38.33, the South Korean won (per 100) Rs. 10.30 and Rs. 10.34, the Swedish krona Rs. 16.45 and Rs. 16.51, and the Danish krone Rs. 23.77 and Rs. 23.87.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs. 19.35 (buying) and Rs. 19.42 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs. 494.08 and Rs. 496.04, the Bahraini dinar at Rs. 401.35 and Rs. 402.94, and the Omani riyal at Rs. 393.64 and Rs. 395.20.

Meanwhile, the Indian rupee (per 100) is fixed at Rs. 160.00 (buying) and Rs. 160.15 (selling). The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed, and that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, with updated rates available on its official website.
