KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal today met UNICEF South Asia Regional Director Sanjay Wijesekera and UNICEF Nepal Representative Alice Akunga at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the courtesy meeting, they discussed ongoing cooperation between Nepal and UNICEF in key areas including child welfare, health, education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.

Both sides also reviewed progress of existing UNICEF-supported programs in Nepal and exchanged views on strengthening future collaboration to improve service delivery for children and vulnerable communities across the country.
