KATHMANDU: Three committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.

The meetings include those of the Women and Social Affairs Committee, the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, and the Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of the State (joint meeting).

The Women and Social Affairs Committee meeting will be held at Singha Durbar at 10:30 am. The agenda includes internal discussions within the committee.

Similarly, the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee will meet at 1 pm in the meeting hall of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee at Singha Durbar.

The meeting will discuss the introduction and activities carried out so far by the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, a review of progress in the current fiscal year, and upcoming plans and programmes.

Likewise, the Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of the State will hold its meeting at 1 pm in the hall of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee at Singha Durbar.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the committee’s procedures.
