KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming at the Ministry.

The discussions focused on various avenues of bilateral cooperation, particularly Chinese assistance projects supported by the Xizang Autonomous Region, the upgrading of the Civil Hospital, the establishment of a CAR-T cell therapy laboratory for cancer treatment at the hospital, and the digital transformation of land administration.

During the meeting—Minister Rawal’s first formal interaction with the Chinese envoy since taking office—Ambassador Zhang praised the Ministry’s achievements during the government’s first 100 days, highlighting its initiatives to improve service delivery, advance digital land administration, and promote good governance.
