KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 13 people from different parts of Nepal during routine patrol operations on drug-related charges.

According to the Central Police News Room, the arrests were made in Surkhet, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Morang, Kaski, and Lalitpur.

A police team deployed by the Narcotics Control Bureau recovered brown heroin and prescription-controlled drugs, including Phenargan, Diazepam, Lupigesic, and Buprenorphine, from those arrested.
