The Nepal Army has rescued two people who were trapped on the roof of a hotel in Melamchi. The army used a helicopter to rescue them from the roof of the local Rose Hotel.

Chief District Officer of Sindhupalchowk district, Arun Pokharel, informed that the Nepal Army personnel were being mobilised to rescue those who have been trapped in the area due to the flood in the Melamchi River.
