NEW DELHI: The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi has invited applications from Indian social media influencers, vloggers, podcasters, and digital content creators for a familiarization trip aimed at promoting Nepal’s tourism sector.

The embassy said five Indian content creators will be selected to visit Nepal and produce digital content showcasing the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, spiritual destinations, hospitality, and adventure tourism. The initiative aims to encourage more Indian travelers to visit Nepal for leisure, pilgrimage, wellness, and family travel.

Eligible applicants must have an active presence on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or X and produce content related to travel, culture, spirituality, lifestyle, food, or tourism. Selection will be based on audience engagement, storytelling ability, content quality, and relevance to Indian audiences.

Selected participants will be expected to publish travel vlogs, reels, podcasts, posts, and testimonials promoting Nepal’s tourism experiences and travel accessibility for Indian visitors.

Applications must be submitted by May 30, 2026, through email, with itinerary and travel details to be shared later with selected participants, the embassy said.
