KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to sit today.

The meeting will convene at 11:00 AM in Singha Durbar. According to the tentative agenda for today’s meeting, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present the ‘Annual Report of the Judicial Council for Fiscal Year 2024-2025’, the ‘Annual Report of the Judicial Service Commission for Fiscal Year 2024-2025′, and the ’66th Annual Report of the Public Service Commission (July 2024–July 2025’).

Similarly, Minister for Youth, Labor, and Employment Ramjee Yadav is scheduled to present a proposal seeking discussions and ratification of the ‘Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930 (No. 29) of the International Labour Organization’.

He will also present a proposal seeking general discussions and ratification of the ‘Labour Inspection Convention, 1947 (No. 81) of the International Labour Organization’.
