KATHMANDU: Two parliamentary committees under the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold their meetings today. The Public Accounts Committee will meet at 11:00 AM to discuss strategies for reducing arrears.
The agenda includes discussions with the accounting officers of ministries that have recorded high volumes of unsettled accounts.
Following this, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene at 12:30 PM. This meeting will focus on the jurisdiction, current fiscal year’s progress review, and upcoming action plans of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Additionally, the committee will discuss its field observation report regarding various holding centers.
