KATHMANDU: All preparations are complete for the second edition of the “Everest Summitters’ Summit-2026,” scheduled for June 10 in Kathmandu.

Organized by the Everest Alliance Nepal in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, the event aims to honor the courage of mountaineers and boost Nepal’s mountain tourism globally.

176 Everest summitters from 26 countries will receive special medals and certificates this year.

President Ramchandra Paudel will attend a “Summitters Breakfast” to interact with the climbers, followed by a rally and honoring ceremony.

The event will be officially inaugurated by Tourism Minister Khadak Raj (Ganesh) Paudel.
