KATHMANDU: The session of the House of Representatives has been adjourned after opposition parties staged a protest demanding the immediate presence of Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah.
On Tuesday, as soon as Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal introduced the day’s agenda, opposition lawmakers stood up to disrupt the proceedings. They demanded that a Q&A session with the Prime Minister be conducted immediately, in strict accordance with parliamentary regulations.
Due to the continuous shouting and protest by the opposition MPs, Speaker Aryal adjourned the House of Representatives meeting for 15 minutes.
