KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has called a cabinet meeting for 2:30 PM to endorse the estimates of income and expenditure (the budget) for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27.

The meeting is set to take place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will brief the cabinet on the new budget.
