KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has commenced the presentation of the annual budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 before a joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament.

The highly anticipated address is currently underway. This session marks a landmark milestone as the 75th formal budget presentation in Nepal’s history.

It is also the first-ever federal budget being delivered by Dr. Wagle in his capacity as Finance Minister.
