KATHMANDU: The official trailer of I Am Jit Bahadur, produced by and starring actor Jitu Nepal, was released during a promotional event on Friday.

Directed by Indian Bengali filmmaker Subhendu Ghosh, the film follows the struggles and aspirations of a young man who moves from a village to the city with dreams of becoming a successful artist. The trailer presents Jitu Nepal in a dramatic role distinct from his well-known comedic performances.

The film is scheduled for nationwide release on June 19. It also stars Barsha Raut, Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Chhetri, Deshbhakta Khanal, Pawan Khatiwada, Niraj Nepal, and Ansu Maharjan. Produced under Karmabhumi Creation, the film’s post-production work was completed in India.
