KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Provincial Assembly is set to begin discussions today on the policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 presented by the provincial government.

According to Provincial Assembly Secretary Ram Kumar Poudel, the Assembly meeting scheduled for 1:00 PM will hold clause-by-clause deliberations on the government’s policy and programme.

The policy and programme were presented by Bagmati Province Chief Dipak Prasad Devkota during the Provincial Assembly meeting held on May 26. The discussions are expected to focus on the government’s priorities, development plans, and policy direction for the next fiscal year.
