KATHMANDU: Nepal is experiencing widespread monsoon activity driven by a low-pressure axis in its normal position, bringing generally cloudy skies and active weather across the country.
Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning is currently affecting several regions, particularly Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division warns that these conditions will persist through the day and night, with isolated heavy downpours likely in the hilly terrain of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali during the day, as well as parts of Bagmati and Gandaki overnight.
