KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that heavy rainfall is likely in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces tonight.

According to the Division, weather is currently generally cloudy across most parts of the country, while the remaining areas are seeing partly cloudy conditions.

Moderate rainfall is presently occurring at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces, as well as a few locations in Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Weather will remain generally cloudy throughout the country tomorrow (Thursday) and the day after (Friday).

The Division reported a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions over these two days.

Tomorrow, Thursday, heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.

Similarly, on Friday, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as the hilly regions of Lumbini and Karnali provinces, according to the Division.
