BAGLUNG: Dhaulagiri Multiple Campus has organized its first-ever national seminar, bringing together academics, researchers and education experts from across the country to discuss the role of research and innovation in higher education.
The two-day seminar, titled “The Role of Research and Innovation in Higher Educational Institutions,” began on Thursday with financial support from the University Grants Commission (UGC). The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Bhim Prasad Subedi, former chairperson of the UGC.
According to the organizers, the seminar aims to foster a stronger research culture within higher education institutions and encourage academic innovation.
Around 50 researchers from Tribhuvan University and other universities and colleges are participating in the event, presenting research papers on 45 different topics.
The discussions focus on a broad range of contemporary issues, including research quality, innovation in higher education, digital transformation of curricula, gender participation, inclusion and social justice, migration and globalization, labor and development, climate change, disaster management, sustainable development, federalism, public administration, accountability and leadership development.
