SUNSARI:  A police constable died in a road accident last night at Bhantabari in Koshi Rural Municipality-8, Sunsari.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chandra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office, Sunsari, the deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Police Constable Randeep Paudel, a resident of Triyuga Municipality-2.

Police reported that the motorcycle (Sa 11 Pa 2500) ridden by Constable Paudel collided with a city safari (Pra 1-02-003 Ha 1052).

He sustained serious injuries in the crash and passed away today while undergoing treatment.

Paudel was stationed at the Koshi Barrage Police Post.
