NEW DELHI: The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, held a high-level meeting today with Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-Charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foreign Affairs Department, in the Indian capital.

The discussions between the two dignitaries focused heavily on further strengthening bilateral relations, deepening party-to-party engagements, and exploring new avenues to expand the age-old, deep-rooted people-to-people ties between the two neighboring nations.

Both leaders expressed commitment to fostering closer cooperation and mutual understanding to ensure regional prosperity and continued friendship.

Minister Khanal arrived in New Delhi yesterday (Friday) for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

His arrival closely coincided with the departure of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, who wrapped up his own high-profile, five-day official visit to India and returned to Kathmandu yesterday evening.
