MAKAWANPUR: Fourteen people, including driver, were injured when a passenger Sumo and a Bolero jeep collided head-on along the Dakshinkali road section at Dhara Dhola in Indrasarowar Rural Municipality-3, Makawanpur.

According to police reports, the Kathmandu-bound Sumo (Na 1 Ja 7207) coming from Hetauda collided with the Bolero (BAA 9768) heading in the opposite direction.

Of the 14 injured individuals riding in both vehicles, the condition of four is reported to be critical, while the remaining ten have sustained moderate injuries. All the injured were promptly rescued from the site and rushed to Kathmandu for medical treatment.

While the police have detained the driver of the Sumo for further investigation, the identities and detailed profiles of the injured individuals are currently being verified.
