SAKHUWASABHA: A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck Sankhuwasabha district on Thursday night at 1:31 AM.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the epicenter was located around Chyamtang.

While light tremors were felt across the district and surrounding areas, no immediate damage or casualties have been reported.
