Police in Morang district arrested a man on charge of killing a woman from Ratuwamai Municipality-6.

The accused has been identified as Sufal Hasda (32), a resident of Ratuwamai Municipality in the district.

The deceased has been identified as Sarita Soren Baske (30), a resident of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-2 in Morang district. Sarita was found dead on May 1 at Singari-based maize field in Ratuwamai Municipality-4.

Security personnel deployed from the Morang-based District Police Office (DPO) nabbed him after learning about his involvement in the incident from Kanchanpur.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the DPO, Morang.
