GUWAHATI: An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 cargo aircraft belonging to the 43 Squadron met with an accident on Saturday, June 13, while landing at the Rowriah airbase in Assam’s Jorhat district.

Following the incident, the IAF announced via a post on X that a court of inquiry is being constituted to determine the cause of the accident.

Senior IAF officials have rushed to the scene and the entire air force station has been sealed with no entry allowed.

Information regarding casualties, if any, is currently yet to be ascertained.
